David Kantor's Four-Player Model of Communication

There are many models of human communication, and it's nice to have one you can keep in your head when you're actually communicating.

The William Issacs book, Dialogue and the Art of Thinking Together, describes David Kantor's "Four-Player Model." I created a handout that summarizes Kantor's model.

I've used handout this in sales meetings, to talk about how we'll work together; in project kickoff meetings, to talk about how good meetings are run; and in one-on-one coaching, to help people see through stuck patterns.

If you send me an email request and I'll send you a pdf of the handout for your own use.

David Kantor is a well-known systems psychologist, organizational consultant, and clinical researcher. He has trained hundreds of therapists, and worked with many dozens of corporate teams.
